Abstract

Through this study, we are exploring an interesting case, particularly the severe clinical evolution of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis to the point of severe respiratory failure and emergency tracheostomy. Superior airwaves obstruction is a severe entity with vital importance, which must be correctly recognized and evaluated both by the ENT specialist and the other physicians.
