Abstract

Prospective study on the “nondipper” profile of arterial hypertension assessed by ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) in relation to anthropometric, clinical data, and other ABPM parameters on 105 hypertensive patients with metabolic syndrome (MetS). The “nondipper” profile of arterial hypertension significantly correlates with increased values of body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, and heart rate. There were no correlations between the “nondipper” profile of arterial hypertension and other ABPM parameters in hypertensive patients with MetS.
