Digestive Allergies Associated with Blood Eosinophilia

Abstract

The study has included 125 patients with alimentary allergy, clinically manifested as urticaria, examinated in the Braşov Clinical County Emergency Hospital laboratory. Blood eosinophilia was present in 33.6% of the patients. Most of the cases that evolved with the alteration of this parameter had been associated with small increases of the peripheral eosinophil numbers. We did not observed significant variations of the eosinophyl count with the gender or age of the patients.
