Abstract

The present article presents the case of a patient with hepatic cirrhosis who, on an imaging basis (echography and computerized tomography examination), was diagnosed with invasive hepatocarcinoma in the right suprahepatic vein. The particularity of this case consists in the fact that the tumour extension, invasion, occurs in a supra-hepatic vein and not in one of the branches of the portal vein, as it is more frequently met in practice.
