On the Conceptual Synthesis of a New Cycloidal Planetary Reducer

Abstract

Some new conceptual variants of cycloidal planetary reducer with bolts/rolls are proposed in this paper; these variants are generated by means of certain structural modifications of certain existing solutions in order to improve their performances. The conceptual solution of the reducer is then identified by ordering the conceptual variants with respect to certain technical and economic evaluation criteria.
