Computer Program for the Determination of the Measurement Bias Using the Control Chart Method

Abstract

The paper presents a computer program for the determination of the measurement bias, using the Control chart method. The program plots the xbar, the R chart and the hystogram of the measurements, and calculates: the bias, the repeatability standard deviation, the bias standard deviation and the limits of the confidence interval of the bias. Using these values, the program makes the decision about the acceptability of the measurement bias.
