Elastic and Safety Clutches

Abstract

In machine-building practice, there are frequent situations when it is necessary to combine the functions of safety clutches with those of the elastic clutches. Because the combination of the two types of clutches leads to a system with a high level of complexity, it is essential, both from a technical and economic point of view, to conceive some clutches that may combine the two function groups, under the circumstances of a reduced complexity construction, similar to a simple clutch.
