Ecodesign - An Innovative Path towards Sustainable Development

Abstract

One of the goals of this paper is to introduce the reader into Ecodesign. It represents the first from a series of papers on this subject based on the four teaching aids developed within the framework of an Erasmus curriculum development project. In this paper, the concept of Ecodesign is explained in the context of the design process and as part of a sustainable development. The paper represents a pleading not only for a good design, but also for an environmentally friendly one.
