Abstract

The paper presents the problem of representing spherical surfaces on computer screens using digital imaging and image processing techniques. It is focused especially on the transformation, using geometrical methods, of pictures taken from spherical surfaces or reflections from spherical surfaces into the Cartesian coordinates system.
