Abstract

Education in the context of sustainability is now understood as a change process rather than a message or level that must be achieved. The paper presents the results of the research done in the frame of a Comenius Socrates project aimed at developing a complex training tool addressed to teachers from the pre-university level. The project gathered a multi-actor partnership that offered a broad understanding of teaching the sustainable energy concept, thus the training tool offers a new, modern learning environment focusing on sustainable energy based on the knowledge triangle: education, research, and innovation.
