On the Performance of a Two-Planetary Group Gearbox

Abstract

The paper presents a construction of a new two-planetary group gearbox. It also presents the theoretical and the experimental results for mechanical efficiency of the gearbox in each of the six working situations. The comparison is meant to show the accuracy of theoretical calculations used in planetary gear transmissions design.
