Abstract

The present paper represents a state of the art in haptics systems with aim of formulating research goals for future research on haptic input systems. Haptic feedback, as well as haptic input devices from the literature, together with their applications, is presented. The conclusion chapter formulates also some fundamental questions still to be answered by future research that will be undertaken by the authors within a running project.
