Abstract

In this paper a general cognitive system of a mobile robot is presented, describing the architecture and showing what is important to be developed. We are also treating various questions that are supposed to be asked and probed for answers in relation to this subject, taking in account human cognitive abilities like perception, use of natural language, learning, and the ability to reason. Furthermore, it describes how to measure the validity and flexibility of the proposed cognitive system structure and how future specific breakthroughs should be added.
