Abstract

Aiming to capture most of the solar radiation using simple devices, this paper presents the modeling and optimization of the elevation angles for a solar thermal system considering its tracking efficiency. An elevation tracking device is used, assuming a cloudless sky for the Brasov, Romania geographic area.
