Abstract

This paper presents the state of the art in the field of gear measuring, focusing on the latest developments regarding the principles, procedures, and equipment. These control operations, which are: the control of the pitch, the profile control, the control of the tooth direction, and the contact pattern control, verify the geometrical parameters of the gears.
