Abstract

The paper presents a set of lab applications for students in Electronics, Computers, and Telecommunication. The proposed lab applications are a blended learning approach mixing a “classic hardware-oriented lab” and a “modern/abstract/virtual lab” using programmable logic devices. The set of labs is based on XILINX FPGA development boards and free software development tools. The paper presents statistical data on the student evaluation for these labs.
