Abstract

This article is an attempt to highlight several ”critical points” and “discrepancies” found in some specialty literature papers with respect to the „Quality Loss” function (QL). Alongside the special importance it plays in the field of product quality, this function also features some inconsistencies and application constraints, mainly in the area of tolerances and ISO fits.
