Abstract

The extension of a building with 4 floors with 3 corps on an inclined slope, in a mountain resort on the compressible ground, required further study and monitoring of its behavior in time. The problems become from different types of foundations, the slopes of diluvial deposits which consist of detritus with interspaces filled with the cohesive material. Partly, natural soil has been replaced with fillings from urban facilities. This article aims to review the phases of research, execution, and monitoring of the behavior of the construction.
