Abstract

The concept of sustainable development emerged as an effect of the awareness regarding the great challenges of today's society: energy and environment. Autonomous and ecological buildings respond to these requirements and must be conceived from the design phase in order to be energy efficient - from an architectural and constructive point of view and also to valorize at a maximum level the potential of renewable energy sources.
