Abstract

The paper determines the influence of the microwave field on the temperature produced in the melting crucible during the recovery process of nonferrous metals from industrial wastes. The particularities of the practical system are taken into account. An entire energetic layout, including the wave generation, wave propagation and the wave interaction with the SiC crucible, was performed using the MatLab simulation program.
