Noise Measuring in TV Channel

Abstract

This paper presents the experimental results of noise measuring at the TV receiver entrance. The experimental measurements were concentrated on determining the characteristics of the noise in the UHF frequency band TV channels. The data acquisition system was used to measure various parameters of fluctuation noise at the TV receiver input. These parameters are important in understanding the noise influence on the quality of received images and for the selection of radio channels that ensure an optimum radio link.
