Aspects Regarding the Dynamic Behaviour of the Phase Shift Angle in a Synchronous Electrical Drive

Abstract

The paper presents a study regarding the influence of different phase shift angle concepts in a synchronous electrical drive. The block diagram is based on the phase shift angle control using a control loop, which is external to the current and speed control loops, respectively. The phase shift angle is obtained by comparing the incremental pulses through frequency signals. A qualitative evaluation of the phase shift angle dynamic behavior for different control concepts is obtained by simulation, while response speed and steady-state error parameters are monitored.
