Abstract

The paper presents the architecture and the functionalities of a system that allows the monitoring and the controlling of the automation of the industrial machines, which build PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) profiles and cut them at variable lengths. The most important advantage of this type of system is accessibility. The Client application can be executed from any computer connected to the LAN (Local Area Network), where the system is installed.
