Abstract

The paper presents some aspects of the wear resistance of plasma nitrocarburizing layers. The research was conducted on two types of steel: OLC45 and 39MoCrAl15. Wearing resistance was studied in the case of two plasma nitrocarburizing treatments and one classic heat treatment: hardening + tempering.
