Ashes Resulted from Coal Burning in Electro-Thermal Plants, a Useful Waste

Abstract

The paper presents the possibilities of using the ashes resultedfrom the burning of coal in electro-thermal plants. In this way a pollution source can be transformed into raw material. The effects are: the reduction of environment degradation by pollution, the decrease in consumption of virgin raw materials used for building materials, the increase in the land returned to agricultural circuit, the increase in living standards and health for the people near the landfill areas.
