Abstract

Some particularities of the Electronically Controlled Capacitor (ECC) used in the optimization of SPIM (Single-Phase Induction Motor) are analyzed. The principal design relations are established. The results of the simulations and from an experimental series of RLC circuit (C being an ECC) are presented.
