The Influence of Priority Rules in Local Heuristic-Based Job Shop Scheduling

Abstract

This paper presents the way in which the different priority rules of heuristics affect the maximum completion time for all jobs on all machines in a job shop scheduling problem. Thus, a heuristic algorithm will be used and by the mean of two different priority rules, the final results will be compared.
