Abstract

The fly ash (FA) is a solid waste and a dangerous environmental pollutant resulting in large quantities from the coal burned in Heat and Power Plants. On this route, large quantities of fly ash, over a billion tons, is produced during the burning the municipal waste, fossil fuels, which are discharged into the environment, producing an increase of pollutions of air and soil pollution. Fly ash has a high specific surface and can act as an absorption substrate. The paperwork describes the fly ash and the applications for the removal of heavy metals from wastewater.
