Abstract

The paper presents the program and methodology of the experimental research regarding the lateral stability of wheeled tractors during cornering maneuvers, making use of the testing method with the transitory regime of the engine with transversal acceleration, with a one-period sinusoidal steering angle input signal. The results of the experimental research carried out on the LANDINI TEAL/AM 8860 tractor are presented.
